The furniture I've been making for the past ten years has been drawn from a variety of themes, including shaker, simple country, colonial and modern. I use the time-tested joinery techniques of mortise-tenon and dovetail joinery primarily for structural reasons.
But I also enjoy using many subtle variations of these traditional methods with an effort to compliment a piece with a more esthetically pleasing, less mechanized, human feel.
I welcome an interchange in the process of creating graceful, hand-crafted furniture that encourages use, promotes enjoyment and invites discovery.
